The color is a beautiful deep reddish-brown with darker accents along the growth rings. The grain is roughly parallel to the long axis and is gently swirling around a knot at mid-block. This block has been fully air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. It has a number of dark-lined, fine cracks that the photos show well -- zoom in for a close look. The dark-lined cracks in Mesquite are not dynamic drying features. They are formed by severe stress on the tree during growth (think Texas hurricanes and tornadoes) that are character marks showing the tree's living history. They are unlikely to grow any larger. CA glue will stabilize these for woodwork. |

Highly recommend for oily skin
The best for oily acne prone skin!! I have tried multiple face cleanses but nothing matches this! My face was broken out and in 2 days I could tell a huge difference. 5 days later my breakout is completely cleared up! Highly recommend using after you remove your makeup and then again the next day before reapplying your makeup! I will be buying again and again for sure

Effective
I normally do not have oily skin, however lately my forehead and nose have been super oily and it's driving me crazy! Maybe I overdid it with tons of new skincare I've been trying out. I recently got the Thayer's milky toner and I love it so so much, but I thought I should try this one instead because my face gets greasy halfway through the work day lately. I've been using this after washing my face before bed and when I wake up and I think it is working so well to reduce the oily skin. It's also this really unique jelly texture and feels cool and smooth on my skin

Clean product
This is a great value for the price you pay for the product. It’s easy to use. It does have a gel type consistency, That’s very easy to put on your face. It does not have any lingering smell or odor. And it does a nice job of helping to absorb extra oil on my face.
